Prof. Dr. Jürgen Maier is Professor of Political Communication at the Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Political Science, in Landau. His research interests include content, perception and impact of political media content, elections and political attitudes as well as social science methods.

Christian von Sikorski's research focuses on political psychology, political communication and media effects. He also conducts research on (political) influencers, misinformation and political scandals. He is currently focusing on generative AI and investigating how it changes and influences media communication processes. Until March 2005, von Sikorski was Professor of Political Psychology at RPTU. On April 1, 2025, he accepted a position at Freie Universität Berlin.
